The NHL's March Madness: Under the radar?

Carolina Hurricanes still scrapping for respect near end of season - Chris Baird, Baird Phototgraphy

Carolina Hurricanes and NHL hockey fans, have you caught the 'madness' yet?

There is a lot going on including a resurgence by many teams, including Carolina, in the lower echelons of the standings, who are making some big ripples in the 'frozen pond'.

Are you paying attention or are you getting too distracted with information overload?

As the NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Championship Tournament fields will be selected on Sunday and Monday, and with the NHL's schedule entering the 'home stretch' for many teams vying for a playoff spot, how can you keep track of it all?

Load up on your phone apps - great ones are out there to keep track of it all.

At least, that's one way to do it and it DOES work.

Otherwise, keep in touch and read the your NCAA summaries here and follow along with the Carolina Hockey Network for the next three weeks as March Madness on the hardwood and ice converge in the Triangle.

Enjoy!
